I'm a junior in high school in the DMV with a goal of building a community rooted in diversity. I myself am Luk Khrueng — half Thai, half Korean. Growing up in a school with few other Asian students, I often felt disconnected from my heritage, and I longed for a community where I could talk openly about both my cultural divides and my personal ones.

I built Luk Khrueng to give people like me — disconnected, lost, or left out — a place to know they're not alone, and that there are people who support them.

As I developed this project, I realized Luk Khrueng isn't just for people of mixed heritage. It's for anyone who feels pulled between two or more perspectives, opinions, or identities. My goal isn't just to give people a place to vent — it's to create a space that feels genuinely good and comforting to be part of.
